Pricing details for the 2015 Nissan Pathfinder have gone out, as the vehicle is now a bit more expensive than the 2014 model at $30,395 with destination.
Despite the slight increase in pricing, not much is different on the 2015 model, which remains similar in appearance to the 2013 and 2014 editions. Still, there are some wrinkles to the available trims and optional packages, which does justify the price hike on the new Pathfinder. All Pathfinders still come with a 3.5-liter, 260-horsepower V6 engine with a continuously variable transmission as a standard powertrain, with front-wheel drive as standard. Adding all-wheel drive would cost an additional $1,690 for all trims.
After the base Pathfinder S, the Pathfinder SV costs $33,695 with front-wheel drive as the second trim in the lineup. New features include fog lights, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with universal transceiver, and heated side mirrors, adding to existing standard features like satellite radio, a backup camera, rear parking sensors, Bluetooth, and more.
The Nissan Pathfinder SL costs $36,945 for the 2015 model year for the front-wheel drive edition, and now comes with remote start, heated mirrors, a 120-volt power outlet, leather seating in the first and second rows, and other new standard features. Adding the SL Tech package costs $2,030, and adds navigation, a 13-speaker sound system from Bose, Bluetooth audio, and an Around View 360-degree camera, among other goodies. You can also opt for the SL Premium Package, which costs $3,330 additional.
Lastly, the 2015 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum is the top-of-the-line trim, costing $42,295 with front-wheel drive. This includes all equipment and features that come with the SL, plus 20-inch aluminum wheels, a dual panoramic sunroof (now standard), Around View tech, Bose audio, cooled front seats, and a heated steering wheel. The only optional package for the Platinum is the Family Entertainment Package, which costs $1,700 and adds a dual headrest DVD system with 7-inch display.
