Honda truly made the most out of its presence at the 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, as it didn’t just unveil one, but nine custom 2015 Honda Fits at the yearly tuner expo. This was just fitting, as SEMA named the new Fit as its Hottest Sports Compact of the year, and named the Tjin Edition-modified Fit as the event’s Fan Favorite vehicle. Still, we’d rather doff our hats to the Bismoto 2015 Honda Fit Turbo, as it also impressed at SEMA 2014 due to its muscular, turbocharged engine.
The Bismoto Fit is more than just a hot hatch – it’s a hot-rodded hatch, as the tuner claims it’s capable of producing 480 horsepower. But how does such a meek-looking vehicle achieve such numbers? Bismoto outfitted the Fit with a Turbonetics TNX-20 turbocharger, wastegate, and blowoff valve, as well as more than a few of its own custom parts, including a Bismoto-Web Level 2.4 camshaft, an intake heat shielding gasket, a cat-back exhaust system, and more. The car also features 17-inch BuddyClub F91 wheels and Toyo R888 tires as external details.
The Kylie Tjin Special Edition 2015 Honda Fit, on the other hand, relied on its external add-ons to win Fan Favorite honors at SEMA 2014. These tweaks include fender flares courtesy of Josh Freeman, an L&R Auto Body paint job, 18-inch gunmetal iForged wheels, a Webasto sunroof, and Coplus headlights and fog lights. Inside the vehicle, SoCal Elite 94Fifty decked out the Tjin Special Edition Fit with sporting-themed accents, while high-end audio comes courtesy of Sony. The Bismoto Pulse Chamber included on this vehicle is the only performance tweak of note.
