Back in June, Microsoft reduced the price of the Xbox One to $399, though there was a catch behind that price cut – the $399 Xbox One didn’t, and doesn’t come with Kinect. Many saw this as a desperation move on Microsoft’s part, being that the PlayStation 4 was dominating console sales as of that time, and that Microsoft had some PR missteps in the past regarding DRM on the console. Now it looks like Microsoft has announced another discount for the Xbox One, and it’s going to be good from November 2 up until the end of the year.
The Xbox One’s price has now been reduced to $349, though this price cut applies to two special bundles without the Kinect sensor. Buyers need only pay this amount of money for the Assassin’s Creed Bundle, which gets buyers the Xbox One console, plus copies of Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and the Special Edition Sunset Overdrive Bundle, which includes a white Xbox One and a digital voucher for Sunset Overdrive.
A couple more deals will have buyers paying $449, and the first such bundle is the Assassin’s Creed Bundle with Kinect. This is similar to the above AC deal, but includes Dance Central Spotlight as a third bonus game, and the Kinect 2 sensor. The other special offer worth $449 is the Limited Edition Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Bundle, and that gets you a digital copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, a 1 TB hard drive, and a customized controller to go with a CoD-themed Xbox One console.
