Racing gamers who want more than the typical sports and muscle cars to choose from can now rejoice, as Forza Motorsport 5 for the Xbox One now includes two additional vehicles that don’t exactly fit the sports/muscle car mold.
The two new vehicles are the Rolls-Royce Wraith coupe (pictured), and the Renault SRT_01E Formula E, an all-electric race car that should provide another nice alternative to the usual. Both cars are available as a free download, and can be raced on any one of the available race tracks on Forza 5.
The Rolls-Royce Wraith looks quite realistic on Forza 5, as players can see the car’s wood and leather interior, rear-hinged coach doors, and Bespoke Starlight Headliner. In real life, the Wraith coupe runs on a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 that makes 624 horsepower and is mated to a Satellite Aided Transmission; gamers too can feel the power of this engine on Forza 5, and choose from 12 real-life color combinations for their vehicle.
“We are delighted to mark a first in video game history by introducing Wraith, the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever made, into Forza Motorsport 5,” said Rolls-Royce Marketing General Manager Marc Mielau in a statement. “The game will provide players with a new level of excitement by exploring the iconic features of Wraith. We are proud to present this compelling combination of refined super-luxury and poised dynamism in such a new and immersive way.”
